HPF – High Performance Friday – from Wacken. Metal played on flutes: three flutes, one drum kit, good-natured growls and a whole lot of tempo. Founded on 31 July 2026, based all over Germany. The Friday that never ends.

Technical notes (short rider)

We travel in from all over Germany and play plug & play – ideal for venues without extensive backline. We need: enough power, a mixing desk with inputs for us, monitoring options (in-ear preferred) and enough space in front of the stage so no one accidentally gets caught by a blast beat. Set lengths: 30, 45 or 60 minutes on arrangement. The full rider is available on request via email.

About us (for announcements & programs)

Founded on 31 July 2026 in Wacken, musicians from all over Germany got together to make one of the most unlikely ideas in music history happen: metal on flutes. Since then we gather between Kiel, Dortmund, Leipzig and Munich, rehearse via train connections and play shows nobody dared to cancel out loud. Live, you can expect a mix of astonishment, sweat and the one question that drives us: when is it Friday?
